after a vulcanictrip or nontrip from bologna back to umeå im happy to be back home. buses, trains,taxis, by foot and ferry it took me four days. two days in Prague a beau city but not if you want to come home fast.
Working on this collagething dolls dead eyes memories cut in half dancing bodies happy but melancolic, alive but froozen, breathing, once i saw the blue flower of happiness it made me dance, mostly inside

creativity and time
its late really late and i should be sleeping but i cant because chinese ink and linoprint goes to well together, oldcigarrboxes also go well with just about everything pastellcolors and ink... ideas just give birth to new ideas... ideas dont sleep maybe thats the reasone i dont dream or i cant remember anything when i wake up... some people might find that strange but i have accepted the fact that my ideas are more like dreams... not daydreams... ah whatever must sleep but i do not want to.....

Pictures in place at the library. Looking at them in a different enviroment was a bit strange but a good feeling. Easter is coming up and i am going to dedicate my holidays for writing more music.
The pieces presented at the exhibit works well and i feel they represent a good part of my creative life, not that life has been good all the time during the period. Life isnt easy. still the creative side of life has been good. Kenneth Gaburos thoughts about making art and music of problems and reallife events is the umbrella for everything.

graph scores
Tomo starts my exhibition at the library. Great fun and a bit strange presenting things in a new way.Really a challange to met a new audience. Six pieces: Distracted, the secret language, Breath, Cage 1-4, Soliloqies 1 and 5, Sounds and life that left hours ago! 11 graphic scores for imp. ensemble and solo.

Penguino Lunaire a text through a penguins eye. Warren Burt wrote and sent these text to Kenneth Gaburo. How does a penguin react and act i relation to a romantic poem and how will it be translated? Worms or frogs how do they relate to contemporary art?

cavea,cage and cavity
ok sometimes time and me work in different directions, time has become something that i really need to keep to myself. For a long perios i have been a really hard working person only doing things that i needed to do, change and accept.
I will soon show some of the things ive done during this period.

beginners mind
i am back to the thought about everythings beginning.Its always ways of doing things differently but why dont why do that?
Why is it hard for a well educated and intelligent person to just do things why do we always make understanding the first step of our creativity? In my work with children i find the do part the most important, in some cases it takes some understanding of the software used but mostly the understanding grows while they are working. art can be theory or theories but in the end it comes down to practical work. it takes endurance to go from idea to the end. theory can help but it needs to be turned into practical use. Kids often define their own theories, why does music need to be written from left to right? i have experienced scores written in many mysterious ways but they all make sense and expand my own understanding of what the creative process is about. The scores may need explanaitions it needs to communicate to/with the performers. Almost every score historical or contemprary carries the same problem. Kids scores doesnt leave play out they rather incorporate play into the score. to be contimued
